Giants-Colts inactives: Malik Nabers will be in the lineup for New York

Wide receiver Malik Nabers, who had been questionable with a toe injury, will play Sunday for the New York Giants. The Giants are hosting Indianapolis Colts in their home final for the 2024 season.

Nabers has 969 receiving yards. He could become the Giants’ first 1,000-yard receiver since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2018 with 31 more receiving yards.

Nabers needs three catches to become the first rookie receiver in franchise history to reach 100. It would also make him the first receiver since Beckham’s 101 receptions in 2018 to reach the century mark.

Nabers needs just eight receptions to break the rookie record of 105 receptions set last year by Puka Nacua of Los Angeles Rams. Naber’s trails Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers (101 receptions) with four catches. Both look set to break that mark.

Nabers is also within reach of Steve Smith’s single-season franchise record of 107 receptions. Smith set that mark in 2009.

Running back Tyrone Tracy, who needs 16 yards to reach 1,000 yards from scrimmage for the season, will also play. was limited in practice during the week with an ankle problem.
