How to watch the New Year’s bowl game

Traditionally, one of the biggest days of the year for college football has been reserved for the three remaining quarterfinal games. Penn State took care of Boise State on New Year’s Eve at the Fiesta Bowl to earn a trip to the semifinals.

Today’s slate will see Texas take on Big 12 champion Arizona State in the Peach Bowl and a rematch of one of the best games of the year as conference foes Ohio State and Oregon battle it out in the Rose Bowl.

The nightcap features the Sugar Bowl, where SEC champion Georgia plays Notre Dame, a game to be played as the city mourns Wednesday morning’s deadly mass shooting.

The Sugar Bowl winner will face Penn State in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 9, while the Peach Bowl and Rose Bowl winners will play at the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 10.
