Two taken to hospital after storms in Franklin County

FRANKLIN CO., Miss. (WLBT) – Two people were taken to a local hospital after storms passed through Franklin County Saturday night.

This according to Mississippi Emergency Management Agency Chief Communications Officer Malary White.

Franklin County Sheriff Tom Tindle told WLBT 3 On Your Side that roof damage has been reported. The eastern side of the county is without power and trees are also down.

No deaths have been reported.

The identities of the people at the hospital have not been released. Their condition was also not released.
