“New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” is a tradition broadcast from several places, including New York, where the iconic ball drops in Times Square. This year it includes performances from artists such as Carrie Underwood, Lenny Kravitz and TLC.

“New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” is another viewing option for folks celebrating at home. The special will be broadcast on CBS from 20.00 and features performances by Kane Brown and Jelly Roll.

Who is hosting ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2025′?

Longtime host Ryan Seacrest will share hosting duties with the British pop star Rita Ora. Dayanara Torres will co-host from Puerto Rico.

This marks Seacrest’s 20th year hosting the ABC holiday special. His other on-screen duties include hosting “Wheel of Fortune” – having replaced Pat Sajak in September — as well as “American Idol.”
