Bengals RB hurt vs Broncos in NFL week 17

game

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown suffered an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s NFL Week 17 game against Denver Broncos at Paycor Stadium.

Brown walked off the field under his own power. Brown was replaced by Khalil Herbert.

“And Brown has been absolutely tremendous for this offense,” NFL Network play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan said during the broadcast.

Brown jumped into the Salvation Army red cauldron just outside the end zone to celebrate a 19-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Joe Burrow in the second quarter of Monday’s NFL Week 14 win against Dallas. Brown was fined $5,481 for the celebration.

Brown has played in all 14 of the Bengals’ games this season. A fifth round pick by Cincinnati in the 2023 NFL draft, he is in his second season with Cincinnati.

Brown missed several games during his rookie season with a hamstring injury and was injured during a later season win against the Minnesota Vikings.

The NFL announced earlier this season that a fan did not intentionally spill a drink on Brown after the team’s Week 4 win over Carolina.
