Bengals RB Chase Brown suffers injury vs. Broncos

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown suffered an injury late in the team’s Week 17 game against the Denver Broncos.

Brown appeared to injure himself by trying to slide on the turf instead of scoring a touchdown late in the game as the Bengals tried to burn the clock with the game tied at 17.

The injury forced the Bengals to use their final timeout, and Brown needed help from trainers to leave the field. Joe Burrow scored a touchdown on the next play to give the Bengals the lead.

Before leaving the game, Brown had carried the ball 20 times for 67 yards and caught four passes. Entering the game, he had rushed for 923 yards and seven touchdowns, with another 50 catches, 336 yards and four touchdowns as the breakout leader back.
