TAMPA, Fla. — Michigan football is knee-deep in preparation for the ReliaQuest Bowl game against Alabamabut at the same time it prepares for the future.

There are several early enrollees from the 2025 recruiting class who traveled with the Wolverines to Tampa, but the one everyone has their eyes on is the No. 1 overall recruit. 1 in the country, former five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood.

Friday was the first time anyone outside the program has been able to catch a glimpse of Underwood in a Michigan uniform, as the media got about 20 minutes of the Wolverines’ practice. Here’s a little of what we were able to catch of Underwood working out in the early practice.

No, we didn’t see any wow moments as Underwood, more or less, simply started initial warm-ups. But certainly, his size and arm are enticing as he prepares for an opportunity to potentially start for the Maize and Blue next year.
