More than 50,000 outages have been reported to ChatGPT on Downdetector.com after a spike in reports around 1:30 PM EST.

The outage appeared to continue after 3:30pm EST.

OpenAI did not immediately respond to Forbes’ request for comment on the status of its chatbot.
