Wolves vs Man United: Marcus Rashford’s exile continues

Marcus Rashford has been left out of the Manchester United squad for a fourth game in a row as Ruben Amorim’s side travel to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Rashford has not featured in a match squad since December 12 in the UEFA Europa League against Viktoria Plzen and has since conducted an interview in which he said he was ready for a new challenge after spending his entire professional career in United.

Amorim has repeatedly insisted that the England international’s absence from the squad is not due to his request to move on, but a result of his performances.

United go into the match at Wolves 13th in the table after a difficult start to the campaign, which has seen the club sack Erik ten Hag and appoint former Sporting CP head coach Amorim.
