The NFL will play two games on Christmas in 2024, even though the holiday falls on a Wednesday. The day begins with the Chiefs taking on the Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Texans hosting the Ravens at 4:30 PM ET.

Baltimore is coming off a 34-17 win over Pittsburgh. The Ravens have won both games since their bye week in Week 14 and have clinched a playoff spot. Baltimore has the same record as Pittsburgh, but the Steelers own the tiebreaker, which is currently a better conference record. The Ravens need one more win than the Steelers over the final two weeks of the season and they will win the AFC North. It may come at the expense of getting players extra rest before the playoffs, but Baltimore is in regardless.

The Texans will be without wide receiver Tank Dell for the game. He suffered an injury against the Chiefs last week, dislocating his knee and tearing his ACL. Houston claimed wide receiver Diontae Johnson off waivers, who was released by the Ravens late last week. The Texans have already won the AFC South, so they are locked into a top-4 seed in the AFC playoffs. Houston can’t be No. 1 seed and get a bye, but they will host a first-round playoff game no matter what happens in the final two weeks of the season.

Kickoff from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas is scheduled for 4:30 PM ET. This is the second of two Christmas Day games this year, so the start could be delayed if the first game goes long. There will also likely be pregame festivities for the holiday, which means the game will likely start a few minutes late anyway.
