Fun events and Christmas cheer bring Santa back to Cochrane

Santa stopped by 91.5 FM CochraneNu ahead of his big Christmas Eve journey. He shared stories about his busy everyday life in the city and spread lots of Christmas cheer.

“I love coming to Cochrane,” says Santa.

“Your community is so warm and welcoming. It’s always a pleasure to visit.”

Santa has made appearances across Cochrane, from the library to the Family Resource Network in Bragg Creek. He also announced that he will be at the skating party at the SLS Center today.

While the Canada Post strike has delayed several packages, Santa says he watched every letter come out of Cochrane.

“I have good friends here with Santa mailboxes and I even delivered replies myself. Check your doorbell cameras!”

When asked about the Cochrane naughty-to-nice ratio, Santa didn’t hesitate.

“The kids here are incredible, 100 percent sweet!”

He hinted at a special appearance during Jingle Mingleand says it’s the perfect way to unwind after Christmas Day. “Once the presents are opened, I can finally enjoy a nice lunch.”
