The 24-hour closing announcement is just the latest in a long line of stores letting their staff spend the holidays with their families.

We do have some good news though, all TJ Maxx fans can look forward to business as usual on December 26th.

Monday to Saturday, most places are typically open from 9:30 to 21:30 and on Sundays from 10:00 to 20:00. In an effort to attract more customers, TJ Maxx will reopen at 8 Thursday this year.

If you’re considering going to Marshalls, you might want to reconsider that as an alternative.

Since all TJX Companies will close for Christmas, this mass closing will affect other stores as well.

Sister store Marshalls is also closing, giving customers fewer options to last mini shop this year.

Other places to shop on Christmas Day

You can get some things in as little as a few hours thanks to Amazon’s same-day delivery option.

Alternatively, visit CVS on Christmas Day for all your health needs.

Retail giant Walgreens will also welcome holiday shoppers.

7-Eleven and other major grocery stores are also likely to be open in certain regions.
