An AMBER Alert has been issued for a missing boy in Tavares, Florida.

Authorities are looking for Jace Saunders, 5, and his grandmother, Kelly Day-Dasilva, 50. They may be in a black Honda Accord, according to FDLE Alert.

The boy was last seen wearing a black graphic t-shirt and dark-colored pajamas (the same clothing pictured above), authorities said. He was last seen in the 1000 block of Wells Avenue in Tavares, Florida.

Saunders is semi-verbal and has been diagnosed with autism, according to the Tavares Police Department, which issued a missing endangered child alert earlier Sunday.

According to Tavares Police, the boy’s parents – Taylor Judy and Brandon Saunders – were arrested Sunday on custodial interference charges in connection with an ongoing investigation by the Florida Department of Children and Families.

The grandmother, Day-Dasilva, is wanted for kidnapping and interference with custody, police said.

Their whereabouts are currently unknown, the police said.

“Our detectives and officers are still following leads, but any additional help from the community would be appreciated. (352)343-2101 option 4,” police said in a Facebook post.
