Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen is Minnesota through and through. He was born there, he grew up there, he went to school there, and he spent the first ten years of his NFL career there.

And on Sunday, he dug back into those Minnesota roots to pay tribute to a Minnesota legend.

The 34-year-old pass catcher wore his tribute to fellow Vikings Randy Moss on his back, literally – donning the iconic No. 84 while heading into Bank of America Stadium for this afternoon’s competition against the Dallas Cowboys. Moss announced Friday that he recently underwent a six-hour operation for bile duct cancer.
