Reports say that Bryar had not been available for more than 3 weeks; There is no suspicion of misconduct.

Known for his hard-hitting drumming style and contributions to the band’s most iconic album, “The Black Parade,” Bryar was influential in the emo and alt-rock scene before leaving MCR in 2010.

Bryar joined My Chemical Romance in 2004, replacing original drummer Matt Pelissier. He played a major role during the band’s chart topping years, contributing to the albums “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge” and the critically acclaimed “The Black Parade”.

In March 2010, My Chemical Romance announced that Bryar had left the band several weeks before, but offered no reason why he was no longer on the roster.

Bryar later tweeted when he left MCR left him “depressed, angry, suicidal,” and referring to the departure as being kicked out of the band.
