Pecan, Cream, Apple and Pumpkin Pie; each of the holiday favorites is the perfect finale to any Thanksgiving feast. If you haven’t ordered your dessert yet and aren’t prepared to make it yourself, you’re in luck. Liliha bakery has a large variety of items to choose from, according to Connie Wong with Liliha Bakery.

“We have all of our Thanksgiving items readily available,” Wong explained. “People come in for our pies, we have our pumpkin, custard and Dutch apple which are really popular.”

She said they’ve noticed an increase in pie orders since Lee’s Bakery in Chinatown stopped making Thanksgiving pies last year, and she estimates Liliha Bakery will sell over a thousand pies this holiday.

“It’s definitely been busier,” Wong said.

She said you can pre-order a Wednesday night pie for pickup on Thanksgiving day, or just drop by. But she warns they may sell out, so get there early.

“We’re open between 6am and 7am, depending on which location you visit, but we’re ready and up early. All our bakers will get up early to prepare all our items fresh,” Wong explained.

Liliha Bakery also has tons of other delicious baked goods like their seasonal pumpkin bread, pumpkin chiffon puka and their famous butter rolls.

You can even pick up a fruit cake.

“It’s ready for Christmas, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have it for Thanksgiving, too,” Wong said.

Zippys will also be open at 6 a.m. Thursday to pick up a last-minute pie, according to Zippy’s vice president of communications Kevin Yim.

“Thanksgiving Day is our busiest day of the year,” Yim explained. “Pumpkin pies and any other type of dessert will be available all day long at Zippy’s, but I would recommend getting there sooner rather than later because we tend to sell out of all of our pumpkin pies throughout the day.”

Because, after all, “what’s Thanksgiving without a pumpkin pie?” Yim said.

But if you’re not a pie person and want to add something cool to your dessert menu, Baskin Robbins is bringing back its iconic turkey cake, complete with sugar cone lips and caramel praline frosting, topped with your favorite ice cream!

Call in your order as soon as possible for Thanksgiving pickup because this sweet bird is in limited supply this season.
