PETA undercover video alleges shocking abuse of turkeys at Butterball factory

An undercover investigation of PETA claimed to expose animal abuse inside a Butterball turkey factory, alleging workers sexually assaulted the animals before they were slaughtered.

In a video on Instagramone investigator, who remains anonymous, recounts incidents in which workers allegedly humped turkeys with chains and inserted fingers into their sewers while the production line was halted.

The social media footage reportedly shows the inside of an unspecified plant, where one worker was seen sitting on a turkey, while another appears to be kicking the bird while shouting expletives.

This is not the first time that Butterball has been the subject of accusations of animal cruelty from PETA.

In 2017, investigators accused workers at a slaughterhouse in Ozark, Arkansas of abusing the turkeys by kicking and throwing the birds.

“If just one person watches this video and stops eating birds, it will be worth it,” the investigator stated at the end of the latest video.

The animal rights group also protested President Joe Biden pardons two turkeys Monday by showing “Hell on Wheels” — a life-size, hyper-realistic turkey transport truck covered with images of the birds stuffed into crates on their way to slaughter.

“This ‘pardoning’ scam is nothing more than a presidential endorsement of the cruel, destructive turkey industry,” PETA wrote social media.
