Krispy Kreme Unveils 3 ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’ Donuts

Krispy Kreme’s sweet holiday offerings make it hard to be the Grinch this holiday season.

The bakery chain offers three new ones How the Grinch Stole Christmas!-themed donuts and two returning holiday treats starting Friday, November 29.

Donuts in the Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection are each inspired by a different character from the iconic Dr. Seuss story: Grinch Doughnut, Grinchy Claus Donut and Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut.

The titular donut fills an unglazed donut with “coal”-like cookies and cream filling. It’s dipped in Grinch green icing with a frosty smile, tufted hair and the classic yellow eyes.

Grinchy Claus Donut is an original glazed donut dipped in chocolate glaze. There is a buttercream squiggle, red, green and white sprinkles and a Grinch decoration on top of each doughnut.

The Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Donut is unlike the other two in the collection because it has none of the Grinch’s characteristics. An original glazed donut is dipped in strawberry glaze and decorated with a green buttercream tree, sprinkle ornaments and a golden star on top.

Each box of the Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection also comes with the Santa Belly Donut and Holiday Sprinkle Donut – two fan-favorite treats.

The Santa Belly Donut is an unglazed donut filled with white cream, dipped in red glaze and decorated with a frosted belt. Fans who prefer a glazed donut can choose the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut, which is dipped in chocolate glaze and holiday sprinkles.

Dairy Queen has its own holiday-inspired candy landing next week.

The ice cream chain is bringing back two beloved winter-inspired treats on November 25: Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard Treat and Frozen Hot Chocolate.

Peppermint Hot Cocoa Blizzard Treat is December’s blizzard of the month. The dessert mixes candy pieces, chocolate pieces and soft serve chocolate fudge before being topped with whipped cream and toffee sprinkles.

The Frozen Hot Chocolate combines chocolate fudge, vanilla soft serve and Dairy Queen’s Misty Slush. The treats are decorated with a whipped topping and chocolate drizzle.
