Krispy Kreme has just revealed 3 new Christmas donuts for a limited time

And our hearts just grew three sizes.

Hot on the tail off Donuts with Thanksgiving Piea classic character gets ready to steal Christmas from every Who down at Krispy Kreme. Fortunately, the chain known for the freshest, softest donuts you’ll find is keeping a close eye on its three new flavors, Merry Grinchmas Collection. They’re joined by two holiday classics that the Grinch would be just as drawn to plunder.

This collaboration with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to bring one of America’s favorite Christmas stories, “How the Grinch Who Stole Christmas!” for edible treats, several appealing newer collections follow. The Ghostbusters collection featured Phantom-focused flavors for Halloween, and the Barbie collection launched in September with pink treats, complete with a donut that portrayed the iconic doll’s Malibu beach house.

But starting Friday, November 29, Black Friday shoppers will be lining up for a green character we might love even more than Slimer. “Our Merry Grinchmas donuts are guaranteed to make even the Grinchiest Grinch smile,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer. “At Krispy Kreme, you’re cute, Mr. Grinch!”

Maybe sweet in taste, but never in character. The sulking figure’s donut is in keeping with his personality, but thank you Cindy-Lou Who for sweetening up the lineup. Here are the new offers:

• Grinch Donut: an unglazed donut filled with “charcoal” Cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in Grinch green icing with a chocolate icing smirky grin and butter cream hair.

• Grinchy Claus Donut: an original glazed donut dipped in chocolate glaze, topped with white buttercream, Christmas crispies and a Grinch piece.

• Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Donut: an original glazed donut dipped in strawberry flavored glaze with a green buttercream tree sprinkled and topped with a star piece.

These three new donuts aren’t alone in celebrating (or in the Grinch’s case, trying not to celebrate) with Christmas cheer. The returning Santa Belly Donut is unglazed but filled with white “Cream”. It’s dipped in red icing, then touched with a black Santa belt and finished off with the Big Man’s belt buckle. The Holiday Sprinkle Donut is an original glazed dipped in chocolate glaze and decorated with festive sprinkles.

Planning to celebrate the holidays with the whole gang? Select grocery stores will carry both six-packs and dozens filled with the Grinch doughnut, Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree doughnut, Santa Belly doughnut and Holiday Sprinkle doughnut. You can even put together a collection yourself at your local Krispy Kreme.

It might be a good idea to do so on December 12, Krispy Kreme’s annual “Day of the Dozens.” Only on that date will donut lovers be able to buy one Original glazed dozen for $1 when they buy any other dozen at regular price. It doesn’t matter if it’s in-store, at the drive-thru or online – the deal is still as sweet as can be.
