Amber Alert issued for alleged kidnapping near Denver involving “armed and dangerous” woman

Police in Colorado have issued an Amber Alert for a missing Lakewood boy. Police say the suspect, a 26-year-old woman, should be considered “armed and dangerous” and are telling people not to approach the suspect but to call 911 if they see her or the boy.

The suspect, 26-year-old Crystal Denmon, was last seen just before 1 p.m. near the southeastern Colorado town of Cheraw with 7-year-old Uriah Saye Jr.

Uriah is 4’8″ and 78 pounds, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Denmon is 5’2″ and about 130 pounds and was last seen driving a white 2012 Ford Focus with temporary Colorado license plate number 6812186.

Cheraw is located in Otero County, about 190 miles southeast of Denver.
