Mumford and Sons to headline the 2025 Under the Big Sky music festival

November 18 – British folk rock band Mumford and Sons will headline the 2025 Under the Big Sky music festival alongside country star Tyler Childers and country rock act The Red Clay Strays.

The three-day event at Big Mountain Ranch near Whitefish will run July 18-20. Along with the headliners, the annual festival will bring country, bluegrass and Americana musicians including Oliver Anthony, Hailey Whitters, Luke Grimes and Houndmouth to the Flathead Valley.

Presale tickets are available November 21 at Remaining tickets go on sale at noon on November 22.

Formed in London in the 2000s, Mumford and Sons recently released the digital compilation album “Gentleman of the Road”, which includes hits such as “Little Lion Man” and “I Will Wait”. Childers’ appearance in northwest Montana in July will come in the middle of a long tour through 2025. The Red Clay Strays, described by Rolling Stone as “arguably the hottest new act on the scene when it comes to Americana and rock music,” last released week their first live album, “Live At The Ryman”.

Iconic Wynonna Judd, known for winning five Grammy Awards, is set to take the stage at the festival. Other notable acts performing at the festival next year include country singer-songwriters Dylan Gossett and Wyatt Flores, who released his debut album “Welcome to the Plains” earlier this year, and Whitey Morgan and the 78s from Flint, Michigan.

As in years past, the stages at Under the Big Sky will feature Montana and Flathead Valley-based artists including Halladay Quist, Hannah King, The Helnore Highwater Band and Radio Ranch.
