Deadpool and Wolverine join Cable on the New Weapon X-Men Team

2024 was a good year for Deadpool and Wolverine. The two had a big hit movie and a series of successful cartoons and miniseries. In 2025, the duo will once again team up with Cable and something else X-Men to take on Doctor Doom seam Weapon X-Men.

Spinning out of One World Under Doom event, the new series will establish the team as a lethal answer to deadly questions. In addition to the power trio of Wolverine, Deadpool and Cable, the team will also include Chamber and Thunderbird. When there’s an enemy stronghold to be taken, the Weapon X-Men will get the job done. Naturally, their first mission takes them to Latveria in an attempt to rescue captured mutants. It will certainly be a trial by fire for the new team.

Weapons X-Men creative team outlined

The new series is the brainchild of the author Joe Casey. Loved for his runs on X-Men and Cable, Weapon X-Men marks Casey’s return to the franchise. He will cooperate with Chris Crosswho will provide the art for the new ongoing X-Title.
