Disney star Skai Jackson, 22, is expecting baby after domestic violence arrest

Skai Jackson, former Disney Channel’s child star Jessie and Bunk’dis expecting her first child after her domestic violence arrest in August, People confirmed.

Jackson, 22, told the magazine, “I’m excited to begin this new chapter in my life, to embrace motherhood and dive into new acting projects,” adding, “My heart is so full!” The actress will share the child with her boyfriend, who she has not publicly identified.

Jackson last made headlines when she was reported to have pushed her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk, according to TMZat which point the site revealed Jackson told police she was pregnant and the couple were engaged.

After security footage revealed that Jackson had indeed pushed her partner, she was arrested for domestic violence. Her confirmation of the pregnancy in People is the first time the star confirmed to the media that she was expecting a baby.

Jackson hasn’t done much on-screen since her seven-year stint on the Disney Channel ended in 2018. She’s been working as a voice actor and will star in the feature film The man in the white vanwhich will be published in December.

In addition to the debacle earlier this year at Universal Studios, Jackson was also the subject of internet chatter in 2020 when she filed and then fell a restraining order against the rapper and social media personality Bhad Barbie after an internet feud.
