Glen Powell shooting down rumors that he is to replace his comrade Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible franchise.

The rumors began after the announcement that the upcoming eighth film in the franchise has the title The final statementwhich apparently suggests an end to Emptydriving as Agent Ethan Hunt.

A rumor swirled it Empty is preparing Glenn to continue the franchise as the new lead, but the hot young star explains why he would never accept the job.

“My mother would never let me do that,” Glenn told The Pat McAfee Show. He added that the franchise is the “worst gig in town, everybody knows that.”

“It’s a death trap,” Glenn added about the crazy stunts in the movie.

Glenn also turned down a role in another major franchise currently in filming.
