Thanksgiving Day 2024 stores open in Topeka this Thursday

It’s important to get the essentials you need before Thanksgiving Day because you might be out of luck.

Some stores will be closed Thursday, such as Target, which aims to “allow team members to spend time with family and friends.” said the company in a press release.

A few stores will remain open but may have changed opening hours. Here are a few stores in the capital that may come in handy if you forget an important Thanksgiving Day.

What stores are open on Thanksgiving?

  • Dillon’s.
  • Dollar General.
  • Family Dollar.
  • Large Lots.

All Topeka Dillon’s locations will operate with reduced hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day.

All Dollar General locations in Topeka will operate during normal business hours. All locations open at 8.00, and closing times vary between 21.00 and 22.00

Big Lots, 5121 SW 29th St., will also operate during its regular hours, which are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.

All store hours are still subject to change and may vary from location to location.

  • Seabrook Apple Market.
  • Walmart.
  • Aldi’s.
  • Goal.
  • Sam’s club.
  • Hyvee.
  • Home Depot.
  • Lowe’s.
  • TJ Maxx.
  • Walgreens.

Goods purchased at Target.com or through the Target app on Nov. 28 will be available the next day, on Black Friday, for pickup, the company said in a press release.
