“I started getting a lot of questions about where she was because it’s very unlike me to just stop writing about a dog that I’ve had since she was 6 weeks old. The love of my life came into my life, Empty – who is also a huge dog lover – moved across the country with his beautiful German Shepherd, Bluea few years ago. Unfortunately, Blue and Shirley started getting into some mega matches. Shirley was determined to kill him.”

She continued,”Shirley had been in other dog fights before and it really scared me. started to get really worried that she would hurt other animals. I had to make a very, very difficult decision. She just couldn’t live with us with how she behaved.”

“It was an excruciating decision for me,” she added, putting Shirley in the care of pet dealers Tony and Angie.

She continued: “This was for safety Shirley themselves. I didn’t want her to end up in a home that didn’t understand her because she is so special and I’ve had her for so long. So she had lived life out on the most beautiful farm with Tony and Angie for years along with other dogs that we have rescued over the last few years.”

Shirley died at the age of 14 after suffering from bone cancer.

Kaley added: “What we had to do was the right thing to do for our family and really for Shirley. She had a great life with us and a great last few years with us Tony and Angie. I am devastated that she has crossed the rainbow bridge.”
