FIRST WATCH DAY for rain Tuesday

As a cold front approaches north Georgia, rain is expected to move in overnight and impact the Tuesday morning commute. Rain chances will continue throughout the day. No severe weather or flooding is expected, but your commute will be affected by rain on Tuesday morning and afternoon.

FIRST WEDNESDAY too cold Thursday

The aforementioned cold front will actually move into northern Georgia on Wednesday. Temperatures will be near 70 at. 15 Wednesday, but temperatures will quickly drop into the 50s Wednesday night. Wind gusts will gust up to 35 mph Wednesday.

Winds will pick up Thursday, with some gusts up to 45 mph possible. Highs will struggle to feel warmer than the low 40s in the mountains and low 50s over the metro. Friday morning will feel more like the upper 20s to low 30s!

Temperatures won’t climb out of the 50s through Saturday! We will gradually warm back closer to 70.
