Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints NFL Week 11 Prediction

NEW ORLEANS – The phrase they say in New Orleans is “Laissez les bons temps rouler.” Translated from Louisiana French Creole, it basically means “Let the good times roll.”

The Browns haven’t had many good times through the first nine games of the season. Really just two, their only two wins which came a month apart.

Cleveland (2-7) will look to a trip to one of America’s biggest party cities to get the party going over the final eight games of the season. They will do so against the Saints, who last week snapped their own seven-game losing streak against the Atlanta Falcons to improve to 3-7, but 1-0 under interim head coach Darren Rizzi.

So who wants to let the good times roll?

Here’s how the three writers who follow the Browns for us, Chris Easterling, Nate Ulrich and Dan Kadar, see the team’s Week 11 road game.

Brown vs. Saints prediction: Who will win in NFL Week 11 Sunday afternoon?

EASTER: This game has all sorts of storylines that would have made it a great, exciting matchup had it been 7-2 vs. 7-3. Instead, it is the opposite. Still, Jameis Winston’s return to New Orleans could be a spectacular success for Cleveland. Or it could turn into a spectacular disaster. It’s the kind of gamble befitting one of the riverboat casinos that cruise down the Mississippi River. Here’s betting that it goes Cleveland’s way. BRUNNE 24, SAINTS 17

ULRICH: Jameis Winston has thrown the ball to the other team multiple times in his two Brown starts. Saints defenders should be especially ready to take advantage because many of them know Winston well. He spent the last four seasons in New Orleans. For what it’s worth, Derek Carr is 4-1 as a starter against the Browns. SAINTS 23, BRUNNE 20

KADAR: For the Browns to win, they will need to cut down on turnovers and even create some of their own. Not an easy task for a team with one interception this season. But if the Browns can’t beat a 3-7 Saints team coming off their bye week, they can’t win another one this season. BRUNNE 24, SAINTS 20
