Hudson Yards Fire: Massive fire at Manhattan Building, NYC officials alerted | CLOCK

UPDATE: The fire broke out around 11:30 a.m. local time on Tenth Avenue between 35th and 36th Streets, according to the FDNY. There were no initial injuries reported, the agency said, adding that just under 80 firefighters responded to the blaze.

A massive fire broke out from the roof of a Manhattan skyscraper, The Set, i Hudson Yards Quarter Thursday. New York City officials, including firefighters, raced to the scene at 10th Avenue and West 35th Street. Videos showed a large plume of smoke filling the sky.

There are no early reports of injuries or deaths, it is unclear at this time what may have sparked the large fire.

The Citizen crime reporting filing noted that firefighters say the fire is under control and there are no injuries. Several locals and journalists posted updates on social media. “A building in #HudsonYards is on fire right now. Took these pics from my bedroom and called 911. Prayers,” said one person on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“High Rise Fire at Hudson Yards. Smoke pouring from roof of building as firefighters work to extinguish flames. Avoid area,” The Citizen reported on the Elon Musk-led platform.
