Man dead after argument leads to shooting in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Police Department released new information about a double shooting near Grant and Alvernon on Wednesday evening, November 6th.

Tucson Police responded shortly after 1 p.m. 9:00 PM to the 2400 block of N. Haskell for reports of a shooting.

Officers found two male adults with gunshot wounds and performed life-saving measures.

Both individuals were transported to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

22-year-old Raymond Murillo was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The other man is in critical but stable condition.

Detectives learned Murillo and the other man were involved in a verbal altercation before shots were fired.

TPD says the investigation is ongoing.
