Sydney Sweeney fighting back against swimsuit body shamers – literally.

Let’s take a moment back: Last week, the Daily Mail and a few other publications released paparazzi photos of the 27-year-old hanging out at her waterfront mansion in the Florida Keys. In the photos, Sydney can be seen hanging out by the pool in a purple swimsuit doing some pretty normal activities like walking around, adjusting her top and fixing her hair.

Naturally, some people went to pieces on Reddit and picked apart Sydney’s appearance as she minded her own business in her own home.

Instead of ignoring the ridiculous comments Euphoria star decided to send them on Instagram. Some of the gems include things like, “She got knocked up? Stung by a wasp’s nest? Dive into a swimming pool full of donuts and chips? Good grief man!” and “pretty creepy, isn’t she?”

After scrolling through a ton of these comments, the video switches to footage of Sydney doing all kinds of badass exercises like boxing, flipping massive tires, boxing and lifting weights like a total pro.

At the very end, the video shares one name: Christy Martin. Why? Sydney trained to play the professional boxer in an upcoming biopic. The film is currently in post-production, according to IMDBbut does not yet have a publicly shared release date or official title.

And while Sydney has clearly been working hard to prepare for this film, she’s no stranger to being active. She told earlier Women’s health that she loves slalom water skiing.

“It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs — you get tired really quickly,” she said. “I see such a change in my body after a whole summer (of skiing). My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it’s so much fun.”

Sydney also loves hiking with her dog, Tank, and practiced mixed martial arts (MMA) for years, she said WH. Running and strength training are also in the mix. In addition, she is a big fan of Solidcore, the whole body Pilates training.

“It’s one of the best workouts you can do, it’s so challenging,” she said. “It just makes me feel so toned and strong, but also elongated, and I feel so good doing it.”

Sydney’s message to body shamers is pretty clear: Take a seat.
