New Year’s week weather: Nighttime temperatures drop back to freezing

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Temperatures will swing 30 degrees this week with the return of freezing overnight.

After a high of 60 and a low of 48 on Monday, the high will drop to 42 on New Year’s Day with a low of 26, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 40% chance of rain on Monday and a 30% chance on Tuesday.
