Kenny Pickett leaves the game as the Eagles lead 27-7

The Eagles began the day without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, who was diagnosed with a concussion during last week’s loss to the Commanders. Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett is now out.

Pickett hurt his ribs in last week’s game, and after taking two big hits in the opener of the second half, he’s headed to the X-ray room.

Pickett stayed on the ground briefly, holding the midsection, after a really big – and really late – hit from Osa Odighizuwa with just 46 seconds left in the second half. Odighizuwa was penalized for fouling the ball.

Ten plays later, after a touchdown toss to AJ Brown was negated by a holding penalty on Landon Dickerson, Pickett was hit by Miach Parsons as he released the ball. Pickett left the game.

Tanner McKee replaced him for a pass that led to a 26-yard Jake Elliott field goal and a 27-7 lead.

Pickett is questionable to return, but given the result, it could be McKee handing off to Saquon Barkley and Kenneth Gainwell the rest of the day.

Pickett is 10-of-15 for 143 yards and a touchdown. He also has a 1-yard rushing touchdown.
