The Jaguars lead the Titans on a rainy day at EverBank Stadium

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars are ahead of the Titans on an ugly afternoon at EverBank Stadium.

Mac Jones threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Parker Washington and Jacksonville led Tennessee 13-3 at halftime on a rainy day in the city. The teams are both 3-12 and jockeying for draft position more than anything else. The Jaguars currently have the no. 3 pick, and the Titans hold the no. 4.

Devin Lloyd deflected a deflected pass, the first takeaway from Jacksonville since a Week 10 loss to Minnesota. That led to Jones hitting a leaping Washington in the backline in the end zone for a 10-0 lead. Rookie Cam Little hit a 48-yard field goal on Jacksonville’s opening drive and added a 44-yarder with 2 minutes, 2 seconds to play in the half. Jones is 10 of 15 passing for 117 yards.

Tennessee quarterback Mason Rudolph started his second game in place of struggling sophomore Will Levis and hasn’t done anything through the air against one of the league’s worst defenses. Rudolph is 6 of 11 for 42 yards.
