Tottenham Hotspur vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers: match time, live blog and how to watch online

It would be like Tottenham Hotspur taking on a team languishing near the bottom of the table, after two wins thanks to a “new manager bounce”.

Such is the situation this weekend against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Just outside the relegation zone, Wolves sacked manager Gary O’Neil and promptly won their next two games against Leicester City and Manchester United.

Dr. Tottenham want to see you now.

The situation has become even more desperate for an injured and tired Spurs side, with Ben Davies’ layoff now expected to stretch into the new year, and with Radu Dragusin picking up a knock in the loss to Nottingham Forest. Regardless of the situation with the squad, Ange Postecoglou will have to find a solution and quickly. Maybe it’s this fight that he does; maybe he can embrace his inner MacGyver and create a center back out of paper clips and duct tape?

Match thread rules

The rules for the match thread are the same as always. To all visitors coming here for the first time, welcome! We are glad you are here! Dry your feet, watch out for the canyon, and be sure to check out the other pages of this excellent site. While you’re here, however, we do have a few rules and regulations:

  • Absolutely no links to illegal streams. They are bad and they get us into trouble. Violators will be warned or banned.
  • We have rules against “relentless negativity.” Nobody likes a negative Nancy. Don’t kneel down and post weird or hurtful things just because you’re frustrated.
  • In this way, direct abuse of players or match officials is also not allowed. It’s fine to say “wow, that was a really bad call”, but it’s NOT okay to direct copious amounts of abuse towards the official in question over a call you didn’t like.
  • Treat other people in the match thread as you would want someone to treat your grandmother. Be nice. This is a community of fans, not an unmoderated message board.
  • NO SPIDERS!
  • Finally, while we don’t have a rule against profanity, try to keep the naughty words in check. Also, language that is sexist, racist, transphobic or homophobic in nature will be quickly deleted and you will be banned immediately. This is an open, supportive community.

Enjoy, and COYS!
