Bryan Danielson was backstage at AEW Worlds End

Bryan Danielson was backstage at AEW Worlds End and has continued to work with the company, according to a new report.

Danielson has not wrestled since AEW WrestleDream, where he lost the World Championship to Jon Moxley. The loss effectively ended Danielson’s full-time wrestling career, as he said he would stop competing full-time once he lost the title. Heading into the fight, Danielson had made it clear that he also had neck problems. Danielson later appeared at the AEW All In Texas ticket event.

Sean Ross Sapp by Huge (via Fightful Select) reports that Bryan Danielson was backstage at AEW Worlds End. Sapp writes that Danielson has “continued to work with the company,” but further details are unclear at this time.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.

Bryan Danielson on his future

Danielson previously discussed his future in an interview with Denise Salcedo for Instinct culture. He noted that his throat wasn’t great, but he enjoyed his time with his family. When asked about potentially having surgery, Danielson said he was trying to avoid it.

“I want to avoid that as much as possible,” he said. “The idea for me is that surgery is a last resort, not a first resort. I’ll try some other things first before I go under the knife. That’s kind of my plan now.

“If I had to guess right now, I’d say it’s 50/50 if I want to eve (wrestle again) and I’m fine with that. I loved the time I got to spend doing this , but I also love what I do now.”
