Today is one Storm Alert Weather Day. Rain showers are expected throughout the morning with a break in the afternoon. The current severe weather time frame is tonight between 10:00 PM EST and 11:00 AM Sunday.

Our northeast community is at marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) of severe weather and our southwest community is under a slight risk (level 2 out of 5). Flooding, damaging winds, inch-sized hail and even tornadoes are possible as we head into the overnight hours. Between 1-2 inches of rain is expected.

There are areas of dense, patchy fog, so take extra care when driving. The fog will linger all day. The high will be 62 with mostly cloudy skies. Gusts between 10-30 mph are expected during the day with gusts up to 50 mph overnight. There will be sustained winds between 5-10 mph today and 15-25 mph overnight. Winds will be higher with thunderstorms.

Tonight it will be on the warmer side at 57. Severe weather begins around 22:00.

Sunday will get a high of 65 with mostly cloudy skies. The low will be cooler at 46.

There are more chances of rain showers at the start of next week. Highs will be in the 40s starting Wednesday with lows in the 20s starting Thursday night.
