Olivia Hussey: Life and Times of Romeo and Juliet actress dies aged 73

Actress Olivia Hussey, who was in the limelight as a teenager for her role in the 1968 di ogbonge film version of Romeo and Juliet, will not die at the age of 73.

An Argentinian-born actress who grew up in London died Friday surrounded by her loved ones, a statement she posted on her Instagram account.

Dem Hussey was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1951, to move to London at the age of seven, and she began studying at the drama school di Italia Conti Academy.

In 1977, Hussey bin reunited with Zeffirelli for the film Jesus of Nazareth to play the role of the Virgin Mary, for whom she appeared in Death on di Nile a year later, based on Agatha Christie’s novel.

Her roles in the early slasher film Black Christmas (1974) and the TV movie Psycho IV: Di Beginning bin earned her recognition as a scream queen. Later, she plays Norman Bates’ mama for the story.

In her later years, she also began working as a voice actor, and she proves herself well in video games.

But she’s having one last reunion with her former Romeo – as she and Whiting show togeda for 2015 British women’s Social Suicide, based on Romeo and Juliet and set in an era of social media.
