Note: “The Batman II” was originally announced for an October 2, 2026 release. That’s moving to October 1, 2027.

Also shuffling the release calendar: Bong Joon-ho’s “Mickey 17” moves from April 18, 2025 to March 7, 2025, while Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” moves from March 7 to April 18, 2025.

“Mickey 17” stars Robert Pattinson as a “consumable” who is constantly sent to do dangerous jobs on an ice planet that often gets him killed. But things get messy when one of the consumables survives a mission meant to kill him, and he becomes entangled in the latest iteration of himself. The film is based on a book by Edward Ashton called “Mickey 7” and also stars Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo and Naomi Ackie.

Written and directed by Coogler, “Sinners” centers on twin brothers – both played by Michael B. Jordan – who return to their hometown of New Orleans to start over, only to discover that an even greater evil awaits welcome them back. The feature takes place during the Jim Crow era. Hailee Steinfeld, Delroy Lindo and Jack O’Connell co-star.

The film is produced by Coogler and frequent collaborators Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler. The executive producers are Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield and Rebecca Cho.
