The Fenway Bowl is back, and this year it has a distinctly New England flavor to it.

The UConn Huskies will face North Carolina Tar heels in the 2024 Fenway Bowl game on Saturday. The Tar Heels finished their season 6-6, while UConn won 8-4.

In the all-time series between the two teams The Huskies have lost all three times. But the Heels have lost their last four bowl games. UConn and UNC last met in 2009.

The Heels recently hired Bill Belichick as the new head coach of their programso there’s a good chance he’s there. Tar Heels interim head coach Freddie Kitchens will coach the game.
