Taylor Swift celebrates Travis Kelce’s Chiefs record and gives teammates credit

Taylor Swift is a Christmas game-changer.

On Wednesday Christmas Day, the pop star celebrated her boyfriend Travis Kelce by liking a festive post in honor of Kansas City Chiefs tight ends recent performance.

“If you ever can’t find Travis, chances are he’s in the end zone. Congratulations, @killatrav!” the caption read. Fans were quick to notice that the “Fortnight” singer found time in her busy holiday schedule to like the post.

Kelce excelled in the NFL Tony Gonzalezwidely considered to be one of the greatest tight ends of all time, with 77 receiving touchdowns to claim the Chiefs franchise record. Kelce even honored Gonzalez by “showing Tony some love” and dunking the ball over the goal post in the retired NFL player’s signature touchdown celebration.

“We know how iconic it was that he would dunk the ball over the goal post all the time, and I did my best. I don’t know if I did it quite like him, but I gave it a run,” Kelce said of the pick on to honor Gonzalez.

The Kansas City Chiefs winner no. 1 in the AFC playoffs with a 29-10 victory over Pittsburgh Steelers during a Christmas Day game, but Swift skipped the game, possibly opting to spend the day in her pajamas after a busy year. Her record-breaking Eras Tour ended earlier this month on December 8 in Vancouver.

Swift’s friend Brittany Mahomes, the Kansas City businesswoman who is married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also skipped the game, posting photos in matching pajamas with her two children.

Taylor Swift sent gifts to Travis Kelce’s teammate

Kelce’s teammate and Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones’ girlfriend Sheawna Weathersby took to his Instagram Story with a series of gifts under the family tree, with a card attached that reads“Merry Christmas” from “Travis and Taylor.”

“So blessed and thankful this holiday season,” Weathersby captioned the story post, following up with a “Thank you, Tay Tay!!!”

Weathersby and Swift are often seen on game days side by side Chariah Gordona businesswoman and Chiefs wide receiver fiancee Mecole Hardman Jr.
