Car crash near Yorkdale mall sends 2 to hospital

Police say it happened at Dufferin and Yorkdale Road around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. Two people were taken to hospital.

Two people were taken to the hospital after a car crash involving a TTC bus near Yorkdale Mall early Tuesday morning, police said.

It happened at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the area of ​​Dufferin Street and Yorkdale Road after a snowy evening in the city.

It’s unclear what caused the collision, but photos from the scene appeared to show the SUV involved crashed into a light pole after making contact with the bus.

Toronto Paramedic Services told CP24 that two adults were transported to hospital with minor injuries. They could not say whether the injured were in the bus or the SUV.
