Report of shots fired at Phoenix Sky Harbor prompts heavy police presence

PHOENIX (AZ Family) — Shots were reportedly fired at Terminal 4 in Phoenix Sky Harbor on Christmas Eve.

Airport officials tell Arizona’s Family that police responded to reports of shots fired around 21.40 Wednesday.

A security checkpoint and the PHX Sky Train were temporarily closed as part of the investigation, but the areas have since reopened.

Police have not confirmed at this time if anyone was injured or if anyone has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
