Man, wife arrested in Toledo bar shooting that injured woman

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Two people have been arrested in connection with an overnight shooting at a Toledo bar that sent a woman to the hospital.

It happened at Top Shotz Bar at 5860 Lewis Avenue around 01.15 on 26 December. Toledo Police say a fight broke out and shots were fired shortly after.

A woman was shot and taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to court records, two people were later arrested. Cory Moore was arrested for allegedly shooting the woman once in her left foot, and Torey Moore was arrested for allegedly driving Cory, her husband, away from the scene.

A judge set Cory’s bail at $100,000 and he is due back in court on January 3. Torey is scheduled to face a judge on Dec. 27.

A fight broke out in the bar around 1:15 a.m. before shots were fired.(WTVG)
