“Trade Confirmed” – Fans suggest ‘tampering’ as LeBron James and Steph Curry link up pre-game on Christmas Day

LeBron James and Steph Curry teamed up early before their Christmas Day clash on Wednesday at the Sagscentret. As Curry warmed up at the shoot-around and made some 3s, LeBron jogged out of the tunnel and immediately rushed to block one of Curry’s attempts.

The two engaged in a warm and brief exchange, wishing each other well ahead of their marquee showdown, their first Christmas game since 2018. LeBron and Curry had fans revisiting trade talks surrounding the Lakers star potentially moving to Golden State.

The first rumors were out in February of this year at the trade deadline when the Warriors inquired. Those talks erupted again amid the Lakers and Warriors’ uneven records nearly 30 games into the season.

Here’s what a fan wrote after LeBron James and Steph Curry’s warm embrace went viral on Instagram:

“Trade confirmed..”

“Bron & Bronny go to Warriors im goin wit em,” wrote another.

One fan suggested that both players would have to risk manipulating fees to make a trade happen.

“If they want to be teammates, one of them has to take the risk”

“Ok Lakers, just trade LeBron to the Warriors already,” said another.

“Give them 2 seasons together,” said one fan.

“Bron is definitely coming to the Warriors,” added another.
