Zay Flowers Questionable Playing Vs. Texans

Leading Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is questionable to play on Christmas Day against the Houston Texans.

It’s a positive sign that Flowers, who is dealing with a shoulder injury, returned to practice Tuesday in a limited capacity. It was the first time he practiced in this short week.

Head coach John Harbaugh said Sunday he was “pretty optimistic” that Flowers would be able to play. Flowers took a hard hit at the end of a 49-yard catch and run against the Steelers on Saturday night.

Flowers leads the Ravens in catches (71) and receiving yards (1,016) and has four touchdowns. He hasn’t missed a game due to injury so far in his two-year career.

The Ravens shut out No. 2 running back Justice Hill and wide receiver Nelson Agholor due to concussions. Hill left Saturday’s win early after a scary moment, and Agholor will miss his second straight game. Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring) will also miss a second straight contest.

Cornerback Tre’Davious White (shoulder) is questionable to play, though he returned to practice in a limited capacity Tuesday.

Starting guard Daniel Faalele (knee) practiced fully Tuesday and has no injury designation, meaning he will play. Center Tyler Linderbaum (back) and safety Beau Brade (shoulder) have also been removed from the injury report after full practice.

Prior to Saturday’s game, the Ravens lifted wide receiver Anthony Miller from the practice squad. Miller was up for Saturday’s game against the Steelers and played one offensive snap.
