No sign of Taylor Swift for the Chiefs-Steelers Christmas game

It looks like there won’t be a Christmas Day cameo from Taylor Swift this year.

The pop superstar, 35, appeared to skip the Chiefs’ holiday showdown against the Steelers on Wednesday in Pittsburgh, just days after supporting Kansas City at home during their 27-19 win over the Texans on Saturday.

Swift, who has been dating Kelce since the summer of 2023, cheered on the Chiefs last Christmas at Arrowhead Stadium, where they fell to the division rival Raiders, 20-14.

The Chiefs entered Wednesday’s game at 14-1 with their eyes on the top seed in the AFC playoffs.

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 260 yards and one touchdown against Houston amid speculation about his game-day status after an ankle injury suffered in a Dec. 15 win over the Browns.

Kelce, 35, had five receptions for 30 yards in Saturday’s Week 16 win.

The star tight end has tallied 89 receptions for 739 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games this season, his 12th in the league.

The Chiefs close out the regular season on Jan. 5 with a trip to Denver.

After that, their quest for a Super Bowl three-peat intensifies.

Kansas City has beaten Philadelphia and San Francisco in back-to-back years, the latter of which was ahead of Swift.

Moments after the Chiefs’ 25-22 overtime victory against the 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl, the “Fortnight” singer greeted Kelce on the field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Swift is enjoying some much-deserved downtime following the conclusion of her blockbuster Eras Tour earlier this month.
