Hurricanes @ Predators – Preview and Game Thread

After defeating the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden yesterday afternoon, the Carolina Hurricanes traveled to Nashville to battle the Predators on Monday night. Puck drop is set for 8:00 PM Eastern.

With the short turnaround, look for Dustin Tokarski to be in net for Carolina. I wouldn’t expect any other changes in the lineup.

The Canes are now 21-11-1, and their 43 points are good for third in the Metropolitan. They are five points behind first place Washington and have a 5-5-0 record in their last ten.

They have also won just one game in their last six away games.

Nashville has had a rough time this season and they have a record of 10-17-7. They are just one point ahead of last place Chicago in the Central and have a 3-5-2 record in their last ten.
