Green Bay Packers’ Jordan Love’s Toyotathon post ahead of Saints game

Some things are just better together.

Beer when you bake in below freezing.

Watching a match when your team wins.

And Jordan Loves it when it’s Toyotathon?

According to a previous Journal Sentinel report, some of the funnier circles of Packers online discourse has zoomed in on the protracted auto sales season as the Green Bay quarterback’s time to shine.

And now the QB himself weighs in on the matter.

Love posted a photo of yourself on Instagram Monday, showing off a red Merry Toyotathon Christmas crewneck while standing in front of a silver Toyota.

“Toyotaton is on, Cheeseheads,” Love said the postalong with hashtags “#ToyotaPartner“and”#Varspiration theory“.

It’s also worth noting that Love is a spokesman for Neenah-based Bergstrom Automotive, which has a Toyota dealership in Oshkosh.

The idea started with a TikTok video produced by the account @kickwho claim that Love’s excellent second half of 2023 was triggered by the sales period, which ran from November 15th to January 3rd.

It started last November 19 against the Los Angeles Chargers, when Love threw for a season-best 322 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. That began a stretch in which the Packers won six of their last eight games — though Love’s best game probably came days after the Toyotathon ended.

This year, the Toyotathon – which runs from November 15 to January 6 – struck again and produced another turnaround for Love. Since the sale period began, the Packers have won four of their last five games. Also during that time, Love has thrown just one interception — he has 11 this season — with a passer rating of 119.95.

Will the magic of auto sales season continue? We’ll see when Monday night The Packers take on the New Orleans Saints at Lambeau Field (That’s how you see).
