1 person hospitalized after overnight fire in southern St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alarm 4) – One person was hospitalized after a fire broke out in a building in south St. Louis overnight.

Firefighters arrived on the scene of a multi-family building fire on Minnesota Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Monday. The fire was in the front room on the second floor.

Four people on the first floor were displaced and one person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
